1、First, unscrew the screws that fix the lock cylinder on the panel, and then remove the cylinder.
2. Then unscrew the remaining two screws on the panel to remove the two panels.
3. The screws on the door side lock body are also unscrewed and removed.
How to remove the latch of the ball door lock
1. Look at the handle of the lock from the opposite direction to the inside. There is a small hole in the small part of the handle. Insert a hard, thin object (such as a nail) against it and pull the handle ball out. .
2. turn the disc stuck in the door counterclockwise and you will see two screws. Remove them with a cross-tie cutter. You can pull the centre of the ball out from the outside.
3. Remove the two tired wires from the door and you can pull the lock out.
Installation method of door lock
1, when installing the door lock, according to the product instructions, first paste the newly purchased door lock paper or cardboard spacing template (provided by the manufacturer) on the door edge in the appropriate position.
2, with a hole saw with a drill according to the specified size of the lock cylinder. The drill tip should penetrate the other side of the door, and then the other side of the door will be finished drilling. (Note: Do not damage the finish on the other side of the door)
3. Drill a comfortable locking bolt hole in the side of the workstation until it attaches to the key core hole (keep the drill tip at right angles to the door). Use sandpaper to sand the edges of the hole.
4. Insert the bolt into the hole, secure it and draw the outline of the bolt plate.
5.Insert the bolt and bolt plate into the mortise with a chisel, drill the screw assembly holes, fit the screws and fix them in place.
6、Insert the outer locking core so that the locking core shaft or connecting rod fits the bolt assembly, insert the inner locking core and fix it with screws.
7, determine the correct position of the bolt on the door frame, drill a hole of the right size to fix it, (when installing the bolt with the screw, make it flush with the door frame) and you are done.
